A trip to Marmara Park.

So yesterday my flatmates decided they wanted to go to Marmara park.
Tiwa wanted to buy things for her birthday photoshoot, and Joy wanted to buy makeup. I didn’t want to buy anything, because I didn’t have money to buy anything, but I was glad for the opportunity to go anyway.
We took a taxi for about 14₺ and got there at about 8pm. It’s a pretty big mall, so we walked around a bit. Went into some Turkish shops, as well as universal brands like Victoria Secrets.
I took a couple pictures of some signs that really spoke to me. Truth is that’s what this post is about. I want to remember them.

I also took some really cute pictures of myself in front of the many mirrors I found in different shops.

When we got there I ran into someone I pretty much cut off towards the end of last year, and even though it was pretty good to see her, and I said I’ll call her, I won’t be calling her, because the truth is I cut her off for a reason. She’s not a bad person, but I’m living intentionally now, and she just doesn’t fit into my big picture.
I also was reminded that people do not have the same attitude towards money as I do, and even though I’m not yet sure what to do with that realization, I’m grateful for who I am, and my privilege.
So yeah, we ate some ice cream and then took another taxi home, after which I proceeded to eat fried rice and chicken at like 12am. I’ve decided to do better with the way I eat, and you know just employ self control in all that I do.
So yeah, that concludes this excursion to the mall. Hopefully I go on to have more thrilling adventures, but for now I’m grateful that even with no money, I can have a good time.
Love, Yoma.
